  World Assembly for Women: WAW!

  A conference held since 2014 to support one of Prime Minister Abe’s most important goals: women’s empowerment and gender equality not simply in Japan but throughout the whole world.

  Commemorative Ceremony to Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers

  Their Imperial Majesties, the Emperor and the Empress attended this ceremony, which was also attended by approximately 4,500 JICA volunteers and supporters.

  ASEAN Economic Ministers Roadshow

  In addition to the Informal AEM-METI Consultations, attendees, which included Economic Ministers from ASEAN Members, also gave speeches at business events and were able to go on tours of various Japanese companies. This also included visits to Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Wakayama.

  10th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity

  Approximately 13,800 participants from 180 countries and regions attended the two week long meeting. JCS was proud to not only contribute to running the meeting and arranging things with the UN, but we were also proud to help the environment.

  G7 Hiroshima Foreign Ministers’ Meeting

  This historical meeting included a visit to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and laying flowers at the Cenotaph. Due to our dedication, the meeting went smoothly and the protocols at the main venue and even at the exceptional meeting area in Miyajima were followed.
