Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Grand Opening Ceremony of the Singapore Pavilion, Operated with Support from JCS as the Partner
On Saturday, April 26, commemorating the 59th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Singapore and Japan, the Grand Opening Ceremony of the Singapore Pavilion was held at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan. Representing Japan Convention Services , Inc. (JCS) at the ceremony was Corporate Officer Yoshitsugu Nakamura.
The Singapore Pavilion, presented by the Singapore Tourism Board, in collaboration with Kingsmen Exhibits Pte Ltd (Headquartered in Singapore), is operated with the support of JCS. Our responsibilities include pavilion operations, including staff recruitment and management, as well as hospitality coordination for visiting dignitaries and VIPs.
Spanning approximately 1,700 square meters, the three-story pavilion comprises a sphere and an adjoining annex building. The central feature, the Dream Sphere, is made of about 17,000 recycled aluminum discs.
Under the theme “Where Dreams Take Shape”, the Dream Sphere aims to inspire and invite visitors to explore the infinite possibilities of dreams and to shape the future with the city-state. The Pavilion delights visitors with interactive multimedia and art installations featuring Singapore artists, showcasing how the collective spirit of Singaporeans – characterised by tenacity, innovation and imagination – transforms aspirations into reality.
On Friday, May 9, Her Imperial Highness Princess Aiko visited the pavilion, adding to the growing list of distinguished guests.
JCS continues to contribute to the successful operation of the Singapore Pavilion, delivering a dynamic and engaging experience for visitors from around the world.
