MCI-JCS Japan launches team-building programs contributing to energy poverty

On June 30, MCI-JCS Japan signed an exclusive distribution agreement* in Japan with the Australian charity SolarBuddy. On July 24, MCI-JCS Japan will begin offering team-building programs incorporating SolarBuddy’s services.
*As an event agency

SolarBuddy works to provide solar lighting solutions to children living in energy poverty with limited access to grid electricity. In this team-building program offered in both Japanese and English, the facilitator offers learning on energy poverty, and participants work together in teams to assemble solar lights. These solar lights are then delivered to children in need of lighting, and participants receive messages of gratitude from the children they help.
This program enhances team communication and engagement and offers opportunities to contribute to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and corporate social responsibility activities.
